We're Here Season 2 Premiere

Check out my photo from the teal, fuchsia, and magenta colored carpet. As I graced the premiere with none other that Shangela LaQuifa Wadley herself. The award-winning Docu-series continues where the first season left off. (A PANDEMIC) After a year an half of going dark, the series continues to create positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming atmospheres in small towns across the United States. Turning three locals into Drag Superstars for the an evening of dance and performance in front of the whole town.  The series stars Bob The Drag Queen, Euerka O'Hara and Shangela. (click on their names to learn more) This series is so touching as each of the queens get to know their drag kids more intimately, meeting their friends and family. We see the struggles that each of them have to deal with usually involving being accepted for who they are, discovering their new found gender roles, and finding other queer people in their town they can relate to. It will defiantly make you reach for your Kleenex.  Tune in MONDAYS on HBO + streaming next day on HBOMAX.
